How to Write-In Your Vote for – Avery Ayers

Avery Ayers is an officially registered Write-In Candidate with the Texas Secretary of State. Your vote is legally counted when you properly cast your ballot for a registered write-in candidate.

I) How to Vote for Avery Ayers

  1. Go to your polling location and check in as you normally would.
  2. You will receive your ballot and ballot activation code for the voting machine.
    (Keep the small paper with the code number for your record after voting)
  3. Locate the U.S. Senate of Texas race on your ballot.
  4. Select the WRITE-IN option – Because Avery Ayers is running as a registered Write-In Candidate, his name will not appear among the printed candidate names.
  5. If the Official Registered Write-In Candidate List is not posted near the voting machine, politely ask an election worker for the list.
  6. Type the candidate's name: AVERY AYERS, using the write-in screen keyboard.
  7. Review your ballot carefully to confirm your Write-In selection before casting your ballot. Make sure the U.S. Senate race shows your Ballot Write-In selection.
  8. Cast your ballot by taking it to the Vote Casting Machine.
